How to Install Pre-Cut Sauna Interior Kits
Pre-cut kits wrap your framed room in premium cedar. This DIY guide covers installing the foil wrap, running conduit, and putting up the tongue-and-groove paneling.
Preparing the room framing
Frame your walls with 2x4 studs spaced 16 inches on center. Fill studs with R-13 fiberglass or mineral wool insulation, keeping all wiring runs in cold-rated conduit.
Installing the cedar paneling
Nail tongue-and-groove cedar horizontally, blind-nailing through the tongues with stainless steel brad nails. Start from the bottom and work up, checking level every 3 rows.
